Parker Mason Wellness Solutions FAQs
Getting Started
We offer both! We have a clinic location in Cary, NC available for face-to-face visits. But we also offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual visits across North Carolina. You can complete labs, receive prescriptions, and follow up from the comfort of your home.
Begin with our FREE Consultation. One of our licensed nurse practitioners will personally review your goals, symptoms, and medical history, then schedule a virtual or in-person visit to create your customized plan.
We know life gets busy, that’s why we offer appointments during evenings and weekends to fit your schedule. Ready to take the next step? Give us a call or book your free consultation today!
Your provider will spend time listening to your symptoms, reviewing your health history, and discussing your goals. We will order any necessary labs and then design a treatment plan that may include hormone support, peptides, weight-loss medications, or functional testing, depending on your plan.
Cost, Insurance, and Labs
We do not bill insurance directly, but most of our services can be paid for using HSA or FSA funds. Our pricing is fully transparent so there are no surprise charges. We can provide a Super Bill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Unfortunately, at this time a super bill for reimbursement is not available to those with Medicare/Medicaid. We do not guarantee insurance reimbursement.
Your investment depends on the type of treatment and how long you’ll need it. The initial extended visit is $150. Most follow-up visits are $75, unless we review detailed functional testing, which is $150. Treatment plan costs vary widely based on your specific needs, and you’ll receive a personalized estimate during your consultation so there are no surprises.
We partner with LabCorp and Quest nationwide and offer at-home collection kits for certain tests. We help you choose the most convenient and cost-effective option.
Most clients have labs reviewed every three to six months, especially during the first phase of treatment. We adjust your plan based on your results and how you feel.
You will have direct access to your provider team through our secure app, where you can send messages anytime and receive a response within 24 hours. Telehealth check-ins are also available, and we are committed to being there for your ongoing support.
Weight Loss
Many people struggle because of underlying issues like hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, or insulin resistance. We identify and treat these causes so your body can respond more effectively to your efforts.
Yes. We provide FDA-approved medications such as GLP-1’s, combined with personalized nutrition, fitness and lifestyle coaching. This approach supports safe, sustainable weight loss.
Absolutely. When hormones such as thyroid, estrogen, testosterone, insulin, or cortisol are balanced, metabolism improves, and fat loss becomes much more achievable.
Taking the first step toward better health is often the hardest part, but we’re here to make it easy. Simply call us at 919-229-9519 or fill out the contact form below to schedule your free 30-minute consultation. After your consultation, if you choose to move forward, we’ll set up your first video telehealth visit with one of our experienced nurse practitioners. During that visit, we’ll review your health information, order any necessary labs, and design a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs and goals.
Hormone Optimization and Menopause
BHRT uses plant-derived hormones that are identical to those naturally produced by the body. They help restore hormonal balance, ease symptoms, and support long-term health with fewer side effects than synthetic hormones.
Symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, low libido, mood swings, weight gain, or irregular menstrual cycles may indicate imbalance. We confirm through targeted lab testing.
Some clients notice improvement within three to six weeks, while full benefits may take three to six months depending on your treatment plan and consistency.
Yes. BHRT can significantly reduce hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, weight changes, and brain fog, helping you feel more like yourself again
Functional and Integrative Testing
Functional testing digs deeper to uncover root causes of symptoms. It can detect gut imbalances, food sensitivities, inflammation, micronutrient deficiencies, and genetic factors that affect your health and longevity.
Anyone dealing with fatigue, stubborn weight gain, digestive discomfort, brain fog, skin conditions, or mood issues can benefit from these deeper insights.
Most functional tests are not covered by insurance, but they can be paid for using HSA or FSA funds. We will review costs with you before testing.
Men’s Health
Yes. Optimizing testosterone can improve energy, motivation, muscle mass, mood, and libido. We confirm your need through lab work and create a safe, individualized protocol.
It can be a contributing factor, but ED may also result from vascular, metabolic, or psychological issues. We take a full-body approach to address all possible causes.
When managed by a licensed provider, testosterone therapy can be both safe and effective. We monitor your levels with regular lab testing to ensure optimal balance and reduce any potential risks. In most cases, we prescribe a topical cream that you apply in a small dose each day.
Peptide Therapy for Longevity and Recovery
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the body. Depending on the specific type, they can enhance fat loss, recovery, sleep, libido, skin health, and immune function. Most peptides come in an injectable form, as this is the most bioavailable way for your body to absorb and use them effectively.
Yes, when sourced from accredited FDA Monitored U.S. compounding pharmacies and prescribed by a qualified provider. We only use pharmaceutical-grade peptides and follow strict monitoring protocols.
We match peptides to your goals based on lab results, medical history, and desired outcomes. They are often combined with hormone or weight-loss programs for enhanced results.
