As a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic in my 40s, I was steadily gaining weight and becoming very unhealthy. I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. I needed to make some major life changes. I became a patient at Parker Mason Wellness Clinic in late November 2024. With their help, I have already lost 20 lbs. My blood sugars have been consistently in range, I am using less insulin, and my A1c has come down significantly. The providers have regularly checked in with me and helped me come up with a health plan that works for me. By adding in exercise and protein shakes, the weight seems to be falling off. I don't know where I would be without them!
